Wendy Darling
Wendy Darling
Under covers in the dark,
you read to me by moonlight spark
your voice a thread that pulled me close,
in lands of pirates, stars, and ghosts.
You gave me Neverland to keep,
when I was scared and couldn’t sleep.
You held the map, you knew the way,
through words that danced and skies that play. With every page you turned for me,
you showed me who I dared to be.
You made the magic feel so near
I trusted you.
You made it clear: A sister’s love can light the skies
and carry you where courage lies.
You didn’t just read me a part
you read the world into my heart.
